How to remove court judgement from credit report?

A judgment was awarded against me and a small claims court put a entry in my credit report.

If I pay the creditor, will the court remove the entry? Creditor agreed to sign a letter stating that there are no open disputes between me and them (as long as I pay them) which I then can send to the credit buerua and aske them to remove it.

Is it possible? Has anyone done it?

Judgments either paid or not remain for either 7-years or until the statute of limitations runs out whichever is longer.
Reply:Nope the judgement will show as paid, but will still remain on your credit report for 10 years.
Reply:Judgments- paid or not stay on credit for 10 years. If you pay it then you need to have it released by having a release filed in the county. Send the recorded release (copy) to each of the 3 credit bureaus %26amp; they will mark it paid/satisfied. But as for getting it removed, not gonna happen. Also a letter from the creditor is not enough to get it cleared- it must be a release of judgment form - signed, notarized and recorded to be valid.
Reply:You cannot remove court judgments. Should have settled the debt before it came to that.
Reply:once something is on your credit report it is there for 10 years even if you settled before and paid less.. credit bureau will not remove before it`s time paper work or not..
Reply:No this will not come off your report even if you pay them. Is stays on for 10 years
