How can i obtain a credit report in Ontario for free?

I owe some credit card debt and am unable to get a credit report from transunion over the phone but ive moved more than a few times.

How can i obtain a credit report in Ontario for free?
Yes. There are 3 credit reporting agencies but only two really matter. Equifax Canada and TransUnion Canada.

http://www.transunion.ca/

http://www.equifax.com/home/en_ca

In both cases they will give you a credit report for free if you write to them and request it. The web-sites though try to sell you a online report so you really have to look for the free option.

For Equifax you'll see it in small print on the right about half way down.

For TransUnion you need to jump thought 4 pages to finally get to

Reply:Previous answer was correct.

Print off the forms, photocopy your ID (drivers licence and a recent utility bill) and mail them in to both Equifax and Transunion.

The free reports seem to arrive between 30 and 45 days after you send the request off, so be patient.
Reply:Hi,

I used "Credit Solution" to settle my debt and improve my credit score. They managed to reduce my debt up to 58%.It's legitimate.I came across this company on NBC News Special Edition.Check it out here:
