I have paid off my credit 7 to 8 years ago, but the info is still on my report. How do I get it off?

I need to get old info off my credit report; I have paid everything off and have been perfect for seven years!! I make good money and pay my depts. But I can get a loan to fix my house. My home is paid off and my dept to ratio is perfect.

The credit bureaus are not going to take the effort in taking these items off your report, so you need to send them a dispute letter for every item that is in question, make sure that it is within the 7 to 7 1/2 years. There are books that are out there that will give you example of credit dispute letters, that will guide you in the right direction for attacking these voltures. Once these items are deleted, you will soon see your scores go up, up, and away !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's a beautiful thing. You can also try a credit repair company they will do the same thing, but they have more time and patience to do this type of work, this is all they do, and they know the laws. But for something as simple as disputing because of obsolete info or time limit (statue of limitations), you can do it yourself, You just need time and patience, paper, pencil, and a recent credit report.

Go for it, you can do it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Reply:I would check with the collection office. Perhaps that office did not report to the credit bureau that you have paid off everything. Good Luck!!!
Reply:This is what you need
