How can i get a credit report without ever having a credit card?
If you want a credit report without using a credit card, then stay away from FreeCreditReport.com.

AnnualCreditReport.com is the only government approved website to get your free credit reports. Under the FACT Act, you're allowed one free report per bureau, every 12 months.

You do not need a credit card or have to sign up for monitoring services.
Reply:a credit card is not the only source for credit, you can go to freecreditreport.com.
Reply:Go to FTC.gov. You will have to click around, but this is the offical web site for free consumer credit reports.
Reply:Well, you can get one free credit report per year. Check that, you need your social security number to have a credit report. If you don't have one, you don't have credit. If you have an apartment or a loan, or a bank account, or even utility bills, you do have credit. Just check your credit score online, and that is what you have. You don't need to have a ton of credit to get a loan, just a good score. I wish you luck with your home.
Reply:celest has the right answere. doesnt cost anything. takes some time but can be done. best is to get a report every 4 mos. say transunion in january experian in may etc.
Reply:If you have SSN you can get a credit report. Try going to a local bank for help - banks have connections with credit reporting agencies.
Reply:mother...celeste is right..dont do the freecredit report...they make you put in your creidt card, and if you dont cancel the free trial..it charges you...annual credit report is not obligation whatsoever..you get 1 free credit report from each of the 3 credit bureaus, per year, and there is no catches or gimicks...simply get your report, then close out the screen..your done. it is a law that passes 2 years ago...
