How long do they review previous payments, late payments on the credit report?

What constitute the number of months do they review under each specific creditors that appear on the credit report?

How long do they review previous payments, late payments on the credit report?
Most of my banks do not look at anything older then 6-months as far as late pays go.
Reply:If you cleaned up your behavior, most items fall off after 7 years. Many lenders are more concerned with the last 2 to 3 years unless it is a large dollar amount.
Reply:Credit reports show last 60 months payment history on each account
Reply:in general rout credit report retains information for 10 years.
Reply:Any outstanding payment due more than 3 months.
