How does one rent out their credit report?

researching the use of people that rent their credit report. I have heard of it being done and was recently asked if I would be interested in renting out my credit report so that another person could quailify for a loan.

How does one rent out their credit report?
This is one of the scariest questions I've ever seen on here. Anyone looking to "rent" your credit report is likely attempting to commit fraud. If you accept compensation for it, you're guilty as well. Not to mention that there's almost no chance they will pay the loans as agreed, and it will destroy your credit rating.

Credit information lasts generally 7 years on your credit report. If your credit does get ruined, you'll end up paying thousands of dollars in extra interest on anything you attempt to finance while you are rebuilding your history.

DO NOT DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...
Reply:This is a clever way of asking you to co-sign for someone you don't know. This would make you liable for anything they don't pay for and subject to the lawsuits, collections, and endless battles defending yourself...and for how much?

Not a good idea in any way.
Reply:DON'T DO IT!!! It's the same as asking you to co-sign for a loan. I've been there before, and no matter what you do, YOU will be the one responsible....please don't do it. As much as you like/love this friend/family, you can't risk your own credit future.
