I have been working on finding the number or website for the actual free annual credit report, but all i can find is the ones that want your credit card number. i requested my credit report a few years ago over the phone and I got it in the mail for free and I am tring to do this again.

Reply:Getting your credit report directly from Choice Point IS NOT FREE. They require you to give them a credit card and they enroll you in their BS "credit monitoring" program and if you don't cancel it after a certain amount of time, they will bill your credit card.

FreeCreditReport does NOT give out free reports. I never even heard of that other company...just another of the scam sites trying to cheat people.
