What does this means on my credit report?

I have a chargeoff that was opened in 1993. It never went into collections. It was for an automobile through a credit union. Ok that is listed on my credit report under negative items.

Now I have this same account reporting under accounts in good standing and is paid/closed. How could it be reporting twice? Do it seem like they is re-aging the account? I paid this account off in 1999 through wage earner.

What does this means on my credit report?
I do collections for a credit union and I'd recommend contacting collections or filing a dispute. Could be a mistake. But collections should still have you on file so they'd probably be able to tell you what's going on.
Reply:check the credit bureau
Reply:Contact credit bureau and file a dispute, its free to do.
Reply:The first thing you need to do is get a recent copy of your credit report. You can get a free credit report and credit score at http://smart-money-help.com/free-credit-... . Even if you have seen your credit report you need to request a new one. Things get added to the report all the time and some of them might not be accurate. Getting rid of the errors and challenging everything is the next step in fixing things. Also, you don't need to pay someone to fix your credit report. There is nothing someone else can do that you can't do yourself. That same website also offers a free credit repair kit. The free kit and the free credit report are all you need to start getting your credit repaired. You can get the free credit repair kit at http://smart-money-help.com/free-credit-... .
