How do I go about paying a debt on my credit report?

I have an outstanding bill for Comcast Cable on my credit report. It is an overdue bill for about $50. I say outstanding because I haven't payed it for about 10 months.

Do I pay Comcast? Or do I pay the debt collection company to get this removed from my credit report once and for all?

I would like to suggest you get as much information as you could before taking action, here http://www.DebtFreetips.info/debt-free.h... is a good place for that.

Reply:You will need to contact whatever company has the account now. If a collection company has it then you need to call them. When you have whom ever on the phone let them know that you calling to take care of the debt and make sure that they will be removing the debt from your credit report.

Reply:either comcast direct or the collection agency!!!
Reply:Usually you've received a letter and it will tell you who to contact. If it's more than 10 month usually it's already hand over to debt collection company.
