Why is it so hard to get a credit report showing all three credit bureaus that includes your credit score?

It's MY credit so shouldn't I have easy access to it? I know there are places that you can get an annual credit report but, I think, that's only from one agency. And I know there are places you can pay for one as well but, again, it's MY credit so shouldn't I have access to it 24/7?

By law you are allowed to look at your credit report from all three agencies once a year for free. Go to annualcreditreport.com to see yours. However, this doesn't include your credit score, you have to pay for that. Theoretically, yeah, you should be able to see it whenever but it doesn't work that way.

I've found some helpful info here too:

Best regards.

Reply:The credit bureaus are three separate companies that collect date from various sources. You need to get a separate report from each one. Not all creditors report to all three credit bureaus. An error on one, may not appear on the others.

You can get a free annual copy from each credit bureau thru AnnualCreditReport.com. This is so you can review the information and correct errors.

Credit scores (the method to evaluate the data) are proprietary information and you have to pay.
Reply:You can get your reports (one free per year) at www.annualcreditreport.com. Scores, however, are not free; they will charge you for those. Actually, they are not "your" reports. They are the bureaus' reports about you.
Reply:You can get your free credit reports from all 3 bureaus by going to www.annualcreditreport.com.

The "scores" are not free and you need to pay to see them.
Reply:Theres sites where you can get your scores from all 3 credit bureaus. Yes it totally sucks that we have to pay to actually see our scores, but thats how thay make there money.
Reply:They are competitors. They don't want to make it easy for you. THey each want you to use only them..
